Description
The problem with taking a break from art is that once you start up again you have no inspiration. 
So to kick that I decided to do some fanart pieces for my friend 
's webcomic! I went back and reread the entire archive (And finally remembered who Leroy was lol.) for inspiration. This comes from roughly the middle of the series, (as of now) when a certain "orphaned barmaid" joins the crew of the....they haven't even named their ship... and stalks Elator mercilessly. Between Mary and the raccoons... Elly really needs a shrink. XD
Now apparently Elly can't take out those braids because they're done up with...magical...hair ties? *raises eyebrow* Why were those even on the ship anyway? And no one's brought this up again? His hair must stink since he can't wash all those little crevices anymore. D8
I also did the unthinkable while drawing this... As it often does, my brain wandered and tried to work out the mechanics of Mary and Sue's twin relationship. Don't worry folks, I reined it in before it started melting out of sheer WTF-ness. We never get to see that dress colored, so I had to use my best guess. I settled on "a soft blue that sparkled in the sunlight just like her charming sky-blue eyes."
There is another one coming as soon as I get it colored.

AHAHAH, I love it! poor Elly, his life really sucks ^_^
And the dress color is perfect ^_^ One thing, which you can't have known b/c we don't have pics up of the sues yet (though I do have an old colored one that I plan to post on the FB page at some point), Mary's eyes, or shall I say ORBS, are Rainbow
oh yes, I went there.
As for the hair ties... that was mostly b/c people complained that Elly was too similar to other characters. And he's an elf, so he always stays clean (remember elf stereotypes ^_^ ) Oh the Mary and Sue relationship, heheheh. I'm not sure if we said they were twins? Honestly, it's been so long since I created them ^_^;;; mostly, Mary is the bright happy sue, mostly sailor moon based, and Sue is the darker, more serious sue. As for the boys, Marty is the jock/fighter stu and Gary is the emo/Zuko/mage stu. They are actually half brothers, but we'll get into that later ^_^
but yes. LOVE IT. SO MUCH. Can't wait to see the next one!! (Ps, you need to start drawing raccoons for me, I SUCK at them and yours is SO DARN CUTE!)
