Reconstruction

I thought I'd finally get to uploading the rest of my printmaking class creations.

This was inspired by the trailers of Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy 2, and other creepy and wonderful movies. It was the project I was most pumped up for because it involved my favorite themes: steampunk, mechanical systems, creepiness, and whimsy! It didn't come out perfect though, mostly because it was the first (and only) time I did an aquatint. I shouldn't have expected a perfect gradient in the back... It was after this project I vowed never to work that small again. Details! >.o *twitch*

As our teacher likes to say: I burnished the heck out of that arm!
